This is a Sankyo 30th Anniversary model Silver Sonic (CF 301) that features a solid silver head joint and body, with a 5k gold riser, lip plate and stopper plate. This flute has not been played much...she is just coming out of the closet and needs a loving home after so much loneliness. It is a handmade flute and is ideal for someone who wants a professional level open hole flute without having to spend a lot of money. It has just been oiled, cleaned and adjusted, the pads are in excellent condition. No dents and dings. It plays wonderfully, has an even range, great projection and full tone. Flutes in the same price range are the Powell Signature, The Miyazawa PA 402, The Muramatsu GX and the Altus 1107. A Haynes Amadeus or Powell Sonare does not perform as well as this flute.
