Welcome to this auction for a Bundy flute. It is nickel silver plated; serial #505460; comes with a case and cleaning rod. The pads look pretty good to me (I’m not an expert, but I don’t see any shredding or tears–please see third photo for an idea of the condition); there are leaks; it will need adjustments. Cosmetically, there are some surface scratches, but all three pieces look good to very good. Gemeinhardt SP22 Flute with curved and straight heads an case to carry both. Here is the deal. I picked this up at a sale with some other items and I normally wouldn’t sell a beginner flute in this condition. The straight head has a lot of pitting and the body has some pitting. The curved head and the case for both heads is mainly what I am selling but you get it all. So if you have a young one wanting to learn to play the flute or if you refurbish flutes, here is a deal for you. The pads don’t look that bad – it is mainly the pitting. Please ask any questions. Also the latches on the case has some pitting as well – but the case is pretty nice though. US sales only.

This is a TERRIFIC Gemeinhardt Alto Flute. Now, there are a lot of cheap alto flutes available on Ebay these days-I’ve seen some cheap chinese ones, and some marginally better Jupiter and Pearl alto flutes, but this is a real professional instrument. The headjoint is solid silver, and the body and foot are silver plated. Keys and action are smooth and professional. Pads and action are excellent and this flute plays great! The most noticable thingabout this flute is the rich, butter like tone. This is the flute you need for The Planets-an amazing tone, great response, and all for just a little more than a cheap chinese instrument. Up for auction is a Yamaha Flute YFL225s. It is used and in fair condition. It does need cleaned and polished but is in working condition. There are two small dents as shown in the pictures but is priced accordingly. It sounds good although I certainly do not know how to play it. It comes in the original hard case and the liner is in good condition with some wear showing. I will ship this item via USPS Priority Mail promptly after payment is received and cleared.
