My son has switched to singing and no longer plays this flute. We had it "serviced" recently, so it is in perfect playing condition. My daughter, who is a second year flute major in college has the same one and loves it. We bought this model on the advice of their teacher because it has the Powell handmade head joint, which gives it a really nice tone.
