This Auction is for a Vintage Prima Artist Sankyo Flute. The flute is solid Sterling Silver, and has been babied for over 25 years. It was Hand crafted in Japan in the early 1980's, The quality and sound of this flute are very hard to come by, and the older the sankyo flute is, You are almost guaranteed better quality. the flute has been played very little over the years and has NEVER been touched by human hands except for when it was being played. This flute is amazing and would make a great Instrument for years to come! The Miyazawa PCM-300 was replaced by the PA 402, it compares to the Muramatsu GX, the Sankyo CF 301 and the Powell Signature. PCM alloy is a combination of 65% silver, copper, gold and palladium. It has great projection and a wonderful lush low register. The PCM alloy gives the flute a darker very centered sound and in my mind closer to a gold sound than a silver sound.
