This is a CF 601 that features a solid silver head joint, keys and body, open holes, B Foot. Three years old! It is a handmade flute and is ideal for someone who wants a professional level flute at half the cost of brand new. It has just been oiled, cleaned and adjusted, the pads are in excellent condition. No dents and dings. It plays wonderfully, has an even range, great projection and tone. This flute was a custom ordered flute, thin wall .013 and no silver plating finish over the solid silver which is harder for the flute maker to finish. This is a "MC300 MODEL" solid silver flute (except keys) . The flute is in excellent condition, it has been cleaned, oiled and fully adjusted. There is one tiny spot of plating wear on the head joint (the head joint is solid silver but many makers put silver plating over the solid silver for the finish). Plays perfectly!!! The Miyazawa MC300 was replaced by the PA 402, it compares to the Muramatsu GX, the Sankyo CF 301 and the Powell Conservatory level flute. All Miyazawa headjoints are hand cut professional headjoints and this one has a free flowing responsive cut with lots of volume and tone color. It was Hand crafted in Japan in the early 1980's, The quality and sound of this flute are very hard to come by, and the older the sankyo flute is, You are almost guaranteed better quality. the flute has been played very little over the years and has NEVER been touched by human hands except for when it was being played.
