strawberryhome Store This is a Sankyo 18K Gold Head-joint, very popular RT-1 cut ( previous NRS-1). The brand new retail price is $9,850.00. It is slightly used like new condition. The NRS-1 (RT-1) head joint style is designed to offer a rich warm low register without sacrificing the upper register. This head joint has a lot of volume, projection and the added darkness of the gold riser and crown. It is a great pleasure to play and will be a superb upgrade for any flute. I ind this head joint great for large ensemble work (band) or orchestral playing. With very little effort you have a head joint that carries and projects a great sound. This is a Muramatsu GXlll model flute made in 2009. This flute has only had one owner and is in mint condition for a used flute. The flute has a solid silver head joint and body with silver plated keys. It has a great Muramatsu sound, vibrant and strong with rich low notes and a great upper range. It competes favorably with a Miyazawa classic or Sankyo CF 301 or an Altus 1107. In my mind the Muramatsu plays much better than the Powell Signature model which is for the most part made in China. The pads are new condition since it is only two years old with little use. It is professionally cleaned, oiled and adjusted. Great sound, excellent mechanism and the split E costs $400.00 over the base price so new you would pay over $6,000.00. Muramatsu flutes are one of the most sought after handmade flutes in the world and have a well deserved reputation for craftsmanship and playability. It’s no wonder that they are our best selling brand! I just love Muramatsu high registers! This is a Sankyo Etude Flute with a solid silver head joint and a sliver plated body. The head joint is hand cut and is a free and easy blowing cut, perfect for the younger player or for someone who likes a very open and less resistant flute. The Sankyo Etude has a clear and resonant sound and has an excellent mechanism.There are some small scratches which are consistent with normal playing but the flute looks good, has been cleaned, oiled and adjusted. BEAUTIFUL KOTAKE KKG MGF CO JAPAN FLUTEVINTAGE PRE-SANKYO SANKYO 925 SILVER HEADJOINT WITH POINTED ARMS This is a beautiful collector’s flute. This flute was made by the Kotake KKG MFG CO. It has a .925 silver Sankyo headjoint (WORTH MORE THAN THE ENTIRE FLUTE). It is a closed hole c model with pointed arms and plays smoothly and beautifully. The headjoint makes it sound warm, clear and projecting. This flute is comparable to the current silver sonic model. There is a little wear and scratching on the keys as pictured but this flute is in amazing condition. This flute just received the following: This flute has been disassembled, cleaned (tarnish removal and prevention), hand polished, pads and corks checked and replaced if necessary, reassembled, oiled, adjusted and set up to play perfectly.
