Vintage Conn Flute with all Original Paperwork signed by C.G.Conn himself in Pen and Ink 1912. Description of Flute: Flute is made out of ebonite ( similiar to hard rubber ) and has a unique metal lining of silver the length of the instrument inside. This unique process was one of Conn's ideas and to my knowledge was never repeated again. Possibly a proto-type for the buyer. Keys are gold plated and have pearl touches. The body and mechanism is in perfect condition with vary slight wear to the gold plating. There are no scratches on the body. Flute was restored a few years ago, and pads are new, but will need slight adjustment to play out well. Comes with original case in good shape and has screw in original crutch for hand. The only markings on this flute is the Serial number stamped on key rib and matches the original paperwork. Flute is in key of C. Original Paperwork: Original 100% documents included...is a true find. It includes original Guarantee Bond, letter typed and signed by Mr. Conn himself to the original receiver of the flute. Shipping receipt, bill of sale and all paperwork is signed in ink by Conn himself and dated 1912 !!!! Conn had sold his company a few years later. Paperwork with his signature on it, is super rare and historical ! Paperwork could be worth the price of the instrument or much much more !
