Gemeinhardt Flute 22SP – Higher end Student.Technically this is a Silver Plated Closed Hole Student Flute pitched in the Key of C. It has an offset G and a C Foot. The Flute comes with the coveted J Headjoint which gives it a less airy sound. If it is time to review your rental contract on the Flute for your child, then please consider this Flute for purchase. It will hold its value if it is taken good care of and you can get most if not all of your money back by re-selling it on ebay if your child decides to give up playing the Flute. This flute is considered an intermediate level instrument suitable for a middle and high school student. It has a french style mechanism; open hole inline G; solid silver headjoint; silver plated body; C footjoint. Serial number is 483862. Being sold with original Gemeinhardt case along with a black Gator Flute case. This has been a one-owner flute and was used during 3 years of high school and freshman year of college until a more advanced playing level flute was required. I apologize for the poor picture quality. Flute has some fine scratches and some wear marks but no dents or damage. It probably could use new pads since it has not been played in 2+ years. Gator case has large zippered front pouch, 3 smaller velcroed pouches and another zippered compartment on the inside for accessories. Both cases are in good shape but show some wear also. These flutes are sturdy, reliable and easy to play. One of the top brands recommended by band teachers. This one sounds warm and sweet with great projection as you would expect with this model and the action is like new. It comes in it’s original case with cleaning rod. It has a few minor scratches and marks from normal usage which do not effect it’s sound or playability. The pads are excellent. Just the same it still received; Disassembly, cleaned (tarnish removal and prevention), hand polished, pads and corks checked and replaced if necessary, reassembled, oiled, adjusted and set up to play perfectly. This is a used Gemeinhardt Model 3B Open Hole flute. Inline G. Silver Plated Head, Body and Foot Joints. Range to low B with high C facilitator or “Gizmo key” Wow does this flute have a great warm tone! This is the most band director recommended flute for beginner to intermediate. Plays well with no work needed. Pads are slightly used all in good condition and none need replacing. Finish has some scratching, no dents. Condition is consistent with moderate use. No problems that need repair. No wear of the silver finish. Nice Gemeinhardt Hard case included with cleaning/ Tuning Rod. Silver Capped plugs are inserted in the open holes for closed to open transition players. Easily removed if needed. Great used flute for a great deal!!!
