Bundy II Beginner Level Plateau (no tone holes) Flute. Has been well used but is still fully functional and every note works. Some ware on the paint and pads. No major damage. Missing a cleaning rod. Working case. Great for young beginner in school band. I’ve had it for so many years but I don’t play it anymore. Its old and has some ware to it but it’s fully operational and has no major damage.

FREE SHIPPING in the US. Please see ALL detailed photos below. Instrument is located in the east bay area of San Francisco and local pick up is welcomed. Up for casual bid is a handmade “Guy Humphrey Artist” silver-plated complete flute. It was handmade in Paris, France by Guy Humphrey, maker of fine clarinets and other woodwind / aperture instruments. This instrument (as well as the Buffet Crampon Bb clarinet / Bundy bass clarinet running on eBay now) was owned by my brother. It was used in a professional capacity by only him. He was a working clarinetist / flautist in the San Francisco Jazz scene up until his passing. My brothers musical exploits throughout the last several decades are well chronicled amongst SF “live jazz” players. He was born in the late 20′s and learned his jazz flute chops at the early age of 19, coming into the SF scene a decade later. Included in this auction is the case / and all contents pictured. I do not know the “key” of the “foot” on this flute but will update this listing soon, as i will be looking into it. My brother (Bill Napier) had this instrument insured for $300 ~ hence my asking price. A quality instrument in it’s own right, well used / and subsequently maintained for an ongoing level of regular live stage performance. Please ask any and all questions IN ADVANCE OF BIDDING please. Bundy by Selmer USA Flute S/n 56342 W/ Case Flute is in used condition. It has some scratches and scuffs. There are no discernible dents or dings, though the end of the headjoint is slightly misshapen. The keys appear to be in okay shape in that they do not stick when pressed. The pads have wear and discoloration and some may need to be replaced. There is tarnish to the flute and it could benefit from a thorough cleaning. The case has some wear including a mildew odor but the latches work well. Please see photos for additional detail and feel free to ask questions. Our customer’s satisfaction is our top priority. I own an Instrument repair shop and found this flute at an auction. It is a Student Selmer Bundy. It is NOT in Playing condition. All the parts are there and everything works. It needs a total repad and a good cleaning. There are some minor scratches on the body, but I didn’t see any dents or serious repair work done on it. These flutes are great for beginners because of the ease of producing the first sound. Selmer Bundy designed the lip plate so that the student can easily play a note on their first lesson. This is also a great second flute for marching band. They have a brite sound and can be a great flute for outdoors. These flutes were really made soild. Tey are the standared for students from 4th grade through H.S. The case is original and in fair shape. I just don’t have time to work on it now. I need to get rid of some repair pieces that I don’t have time for. I have described this item to the best of my ability. I do not refund the purchase price or Ship overseas.

Selmer Bundy II Flute with Carrying Case This flute is in great condition. I’ve had it for about 20 years; however, I have not played it for 10 years. It may need a slight tune-up. The carrying case has significant more wear and tear, as it is scratched up and has some sticker glue on it. Also, the handle is broken; however, the case still closes and locks.

This is a used Bundy Flute – Bundy II Model. I’m a band director and the school and myself are trying to offload some of the instruments the school doesn’t use. It’s not perfect but it’s not in terrible shape either. I’ve tested it out and it is playable. A nice service and cleaning would do it some good but it is playable as is.
