HI, I HAVE A GOOD LOOKING,HIGH QUALITY MADE IN USA ARMSTRONG FLUTE. I NOTICED A SMALL DENT 5″ FROM MOUTHPIECE AND SOME LIGHT SCRATCHES BUT SOLID NONETHELESS AND CLEANS UP BEAUTIFULLY. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW OLD THE PADS ARE BUT THEY ARE INTACT AND APPEAR TO HAVE PLENTY OF LIFE LEFT. THE KEYS ARE SILVER PLATED,UNIT IS Y ARM,C FOOTJOINT,SILVER PLATED TUBING,BERYLLIUM SPRINGS,DOUBLE SKIN PISONI PADS,TOP MOUNT ADJUSTING SCREWS AND THE HEADJOINT IS PROGRESSIVE STYLE EMBOUCHURE CUT .016 WALL TUBING AND FINALLY BODY IS .018 WALL TUBING. ARMSTRONG SOLID SILVER HEADJOINTTHINWALL WS CUT MODELNOTHING IMPROVES YOUR SOUND LIKE SOLID SILVER This is a great solid silver headjoint by Armstrong. This headjoint produces a very full and clean sound and is very responsive. Very easy to articulate. It had a couple of dents which were removed but it still shows some signs, not enough to show in the pictures but if you hold it just right you can see slight evidence of the dent removel (silver is very pliable). This does not effect it’s sound or playability. It should fit most Armstrong student models and can easily be sized by you local tech for $10 to $20. I have been playing and teaching for over 40 years. Returns accepted if the item has not been altered or damaged.
