This is model# FL302 and the serial number for the flute is 359144. Per the Selmer serial number guide, this would be a 1984 Flute model. This flute is made from silver plated nickel and is for beginner to intermediate play. It has the closed holes for the tone keys (plateau keys). It comes with the cleaning rod but there is no silver polishing cloth though. This flute will probably need tuning prior to play as I am not sure when it was last tuned. This flute appears to be in overall great condition. I am no expert on flutes - nor do I play one - I am just telling you what I see. This flute has only had one owner and was used through high school for band. There are some faint scratches to the surface coming from normal wear and tear from use and a few areas where it has small tarnish spots. The pads do not stick and appear to be clean and in good condition. There are two small dents in this flute - one on the headjoint, and one on the foot joint. I was not able to get a good picture of the nick/ding on the head joint. There is a picture provided of the ding/dent on the foot joint. I don't think either one of these dents/dings would affect playability or the sound for the flute. Please review my description and the photos provided to make your own judgement as to whether this product is for you. The photos provided are of the actual item. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me prior to bidding.
